Possum Merino Sock Yarn 60gm x 10 Hank Packs

Introducing our un dyed New Zealand Possum Merino Nylon Sock Yarn.

Especially spun for CSM use, this yarn glides through your machine like butter. The packs contain 10 hanks of 60 grams, each hank will make one pair of ribbed possum socks on a 72 needle cylinder. I use the following pattern 30 rows of 1×1 ribbing, 70 rows of 3×1 ribbing, heel then,60 rows for the foot with ribbing on the top, keep your tension looser than you would normally knit  as it bulks up when being washed. I recommend washing in a washing machine on cold wool wash with a towel in the machine then line dry,DO NOT PUT IN DRYER..

If you are dying the hanks before knitting knit on a normal tension as the yarn will now be pre shrunk.

The make up is 55% Merino, 25% Nylon, 20% Possum and has 360 meters on a 60 gram hank.
