Ashford is proud to have its very own Mackenzie yarn. It is 100% pure New Zealand with the wool grown on high country sheep farms around New Zealand and the yarn spun in a small boutique mill in Hawkes Bay. It is a soft 4 ply machine washable yarn perfect for knitting and weaving.
The yarn is named after the Mackenzie Basin, near Mt Cook and Lake Tekapo, where the Merino sheep thrive in the dry conditions and high altitude.
